I like to be acknowledged by people I know and respect. It's not about craving .. it's about common courtesy IMO.
I must be noticed and acknowledged to survive, if at least by a small few. I'm not competitive, though--the situation would have to be drastic before I'd change my manner of ... performance, for lack of a better word (I'm not pretending, though).
I'm always in a job where getting noticed is crucial. It is a project for me to get noticed. I take it as a challenge because if you don't do it right, you will get laughed at. Or ignored.
I could care less about being noticed in my private life. I like to be very under the radar in reality. I VANT TO BEEE ALONE.
I think all people like to be noticed. Introverts are included in this, as I am one. I would probably shut myself in if I didn't get attention. I tend to do that anyways.
I'm an introvert and was painfully shy as a child. All I wanted to be was invisible. So not all introverts are alike Sp. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)

Thank you for your reply LC and Happy Wednesday to thee.

Really? You need others to validate you to feel good about yourself? Of course it's nice to have that but for me personally it isn't necessary.
I'm a loner anyway so perhaps that's why. Thank you for your reply lovely and Happy Wednesday! :)
