Gore got more popular votes than George W. but George W. was declared prez. Hillary got almost 3 million more popular votes than super don but guess hoo calls himself da prez? Right you are ducks! Super don, second placer.
Popular vote does NOT matter. The electoral college does. I’ve already attempted murder to explain this to you. Whether any of us like it or not W and Trump won by our system.
We are a representative constitutional republic, NOT a democracy/mob rule. I feel we left it to the popular vote the few highly populated areas would decide every election. Every state is to have representation. The electoral college ensures this. If the federal government didn’t upserp so much power and control the constitution prohibits the dangerous powers of a president wouldn’t be so alarming.
The electoral college is, or at least was taught and explained in school. It isn’t rocket science or difficult to understand. If Hilary had won the electoral college but lost the “popular vote” you leftists would praise the system. I wonder how many less votes she would have had if illegals illegally weren’t voting in places like California.
In sports when playing against the spread....if the winner does not cover the spread it is counted as a loss for the team.
In NASCAR it is based on points...so the winner may not be the point leader for the race. ( 1 pt per lead lap, 3 pts for win, 1 pt for most lead laps) The points leader gets the Nascar Cup.
