Ted Cruz allegedly implies that even if Amber Guyger* committed murder she shouldn't lose her job over it. Agree/dis?

Amber Guyger is the Dallas Cop who entered a neighbor's apartment thinking it was her own (she says) and killed him. Apparently she had changed the details a few times. So if murdering someone isn't sufficient reason to prosescute someone for a crime and discharnge him/her what is?

    Wrong. He said people were rushing to judgment. I disagree with him there. He basically stated let it go trial and let a jury decide if she’s guilty. Fine, but I disagree with him. There hasn’t been any proof her life was in danger and she was in the man’s home, not her’s. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
