True. So when others don't allow you to respond and speak for you it is very disrespectful. During an interview with Kavanaugh and his wife the interviewer directed a question specifically to her (would you like to have the FBI investigate....?) and Kav answered for her. Poor woman.  Thank you for your reply Merlin and Happy Wednesday! :)

I only speak for me. No one speaks for me and I don’t speak for anyone else.

Did you happen to see/hear the interview with Kavanaugh and his wife? The interviewer directed a question specifically to her and Kavanaugh answered. He did not allow her to respond which I thought was extremely disrespectful of him. So I asked the question because it shows something about his nature/temperament/view of women. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Happy Wednesday. I didn’t see it. I don’t watch cable news. I’ll try to find it on YouTube when I get off work tonight.

My wife is an engaging, articulate, intelligent woman who is entirely capable of speaking for herself on a wide array of topics. She would have jettisoned me years ago had I presumed to stifle her or speak in her place.

Based on what you know/have read of me, do you think anyone else COULD speak for me?
Together, we make a formidable pair. This post was edited by Don Barzini at September 26, 2018 3:16 AM MDT

To answer your question first, no I don't think anyone could speak for thee nor could anyone ever speak for me. Here's why I asked the question. Don't know if you saw the interview with Kav and spouse but the interviewer directed a question specifically to her which was "Would you like to have the FBI investigate...." and Kav answered for her. Didn't even give her a chance to respond. I thought that was very telling and a snapshot of how he treats her. i thought it was very disrespectful of him. So I asked the question. Thank you for your reply DB and Happy Wednesday to thee!   :)

Who is any of us to be so controlling as to allow or not allow another individual to speak?

Kavanaugh. If you saw/heard the interview with Kav and spouse you will know that when the interviewer directed a question to her specifically( "would you like  to have the FBI investigate?) Kav didn't let her respond. He answered for her. So that's why I asked. I wonder how many spouses are treated so disrespectfully? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday.

I speak for him on here when I know how he feels about something as he has absolutely no interest in Q and A or chat groups.  And he speaks for me in the same capacity because he knows me and knows my mind.  As well as my feelings.
