Yes, apparently the NRA is in dire financial crisis right now. They have not declared bankruptcy. NRA dues collections are sharply down and their political outlays exceeded $100 million in the 2016 campaign cycle, about $46 million more than they took in.
The NRA is also facing a blacklisting by the State of NY for sketchy insurance practices, for which it’s insurance partners paid $7 million in fines.
Might not not be long ’til they’re asking the Klan for a few bucks. :-/
