    * Governments come and governments go.  life goes on.

    * No matter the outcome of any election (candidate or issue), at least 75% of people will complain about it.

    * Even if their candidate (or issue) wins, within 2 years 88% of people will have either forgotten about it or will have complained about it (one way or another).

    * Those complain about government the loudest are usually those who don't/refuse to vote.

    * Whether your party/candidate/issue wins or loses, be civil towards your neighbor.  They are more important than any government.
