Trump says/does whatever the he** he wants to say/do and Pence follows through and provides the cleanup. So is this what a vice-president is supposed to do? Be a nursemaid/nanny to the prez? Run interference? Mitigate/soften all the screwups? Is that what Trump supporters bargained for and really want? Why?
