Dems gained less seats than the minority party in power historically does....Rep gained about 45-60 under Obama and Clinton. But they do have the majority as was predicted.
In the Sen, they lost seats which has only happened 5 times in the last 105 yrs and the first time a party has gained control of the House and not the Senate since the Senate started being elected by the people.
