You guys seem so savvy about computers and you don't post pics or videos much.
I was born in 1956.
I am not a digital native.
What little I've learned is by trial and error with no experts to help.
I have difficulty with on-line help screens because I would really need two computers open at once to get instructions from one while following them step by step in the other. Or I have to write everything down by hand, which can be long and complex, especially if it's the whole manual for an application. Taking it into town to get it printed is also a major hassle.
I did much better back in the days when I could buy a hard copy manual.
My main problem with images, especially moving ones, is that I stupidly chose the 32-bit version of Ubuntu when downloading my freeware operating system. I thought that way I would save money. Instead, it means I can't use Chrome and can't down or upload anything that requires 64-bits. I could be completely wrong - but that's what i think the problem is. With no one to help, I'm in the dark.
This old laptop is nearly ready to expire so I'm saving for a new one. When I get it I'll go 64-bits and see what kind of difference it makes.
I still might need someone to show or tell me how.
