Unfortunately, higher unemployment and prices in your own country, unless it can find sufficient alternative overseas customers for goods at internationally-attractive prices; and sufficient alternative suppliers of what it otherwise imports from China.
I don't know how far the game of "chicken" will go. It depends on the mood of the guy in charge here. Erratic and unstable and counterproductive often guides his actions. Thank you for your reply Durdle. I guess we will find out! :)
