However being thankful for yourself is not your doing. It is the result of your parents having sex and making you! So in reality those who are thankful for themselves should be thankful to their parents for having them. It is the product of the parents activities without whom the progeny could not exist. I wonder if that thought ever occurs to those who are "thankful for myself"?
