    This question does not.

    Some questions DO.

I have done questions precisely to rile up people.  I want to see who stands behind what ideas.

I don't CONSCIOUSLY try to rile  Sharon. Of course I cannot  speak for subconscious. I'm sure some folks won't believe that but that is true. I ask questions that occur to me. I don't evaluate them first or judge them or manipulate them or shape them to get a certain effect. I  think it I ask it. Very straightforward. So much crap goes on that makes no sense at all. I want to see if it makes sense to others so I ask. I see no point in artificially manipulating things or people. My goal is always the same. Get the questions out of my brain so they will stop badgering me. Self-survival. What people do with those questions is entirely up to them. I have no dog in that fight. My only aim is to  ask and then I move on and forget about it until or unless someone replies. I have never changed my MO since day one in February 2005 when I joined Answerbag. I am the same me I always was. If a question antagonizes someone that is never my goal. I want to know what people think about what I ask and if they make the question about me I no longer have any interest in them.  Simple. Thank you for your reply!  :)
