"A TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING". What Mick Mulvaney called the don before the 2016 election. He insisted on being "Acting" COS. WHY?

Because he would only take the Chief of Staff job  CONDITIONALLY to see how it would work out. He is trying out the don to see if he will behave himself. If not Mick is gone and the don is once again left with egg on his face. The don better walk the line with Mick. Or it will be another don failure. :)

Guess what?  Nick is also a terrible human being.

Simple.  A traitor to his own self.  He has joined Lindsey Graham in that special place in hell reserved for traitors and especially traitors to the self.

Geez Sharon doesn't it just keep getting gooder and gooder? I can hardly wait to read the next chapter. I'm pretty sure I know how this one is gonna end BUT I'm not gonna hold my breath just in case it doesn't work out!    I think the don should be HUMILIATED that he has so few choices. A man who called him "a terrible human being" is gonna be his Chief of Staff? What a revoltin' development!  Thank you for your reply and this wondrous map. From whence cometh it pray tell? Happy  Tuesday! :)

    Oh that is Dante's Inferno.

He did the Divine Comedy in the (I THINK) 16th Century.  Ironically the hell portion at least, had to do with the politicians of that era.  IRONIC?

I think not.  Trump may be an incarnation of one of those leaders Dante was lambasting.

It is a great book, you should get a copy.  I don't have one, or I'd send it along!

The Inferno.  Very amazing considering how old it is.

  • Good question Rosie!  Why would anyone take that position or want to associate themselves with the insanity going on in the White House?  I guess they think they might be able to change or at least harness the President .. but they all find out, they're just wasting their time.  That freight train is running on a collision course with anyone that doesn't agree with it!

How be thee Mrs. C?  Thank you for the compliment m'dear. I can't quite figger out why anyone would WILLINGLY join the don's merry troupe of misfits (I am being very kind with the use of this particular word "misfits". There are other words far more colorful but I'm being good!) I think it is VERY TELLING that the don is so cornered and bereft of choices that he has to settle for someone who called him "a terrible man" and that someone is dictating the terms. It will be ACTING Chief of Staff for awhile to see how the job is and if Mick doesn't like it he will bail. How low will the don go? I dunno . But I betcha we're gonna find out pretty soon! Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :) (9hugs))

  • Yes .. Mick thought he was a horrible man then .. but someone great to work for now.  Sounds like a typical Trumpster ... you never know what to believe.  He'll probably stick around until The Donald is tired of him trying to do his job.    Nice to see you again Rosie!  Have a wonderful Day!!  ((hugs))
