I wonder if anyone in the current gubment is aware of the suicide rate of vets and it trying to reduce it or fix or investigate it? ANYONE?

Isn't there a department or section of government that deals with  Vets? We have how many V A hospitals in the US? ARe they all funded sufficient to work at optimum level and are all the vets who seek treatment/help/assistance being treated helped assisted? How often does anyone with any power check on it to see what's going on? Who cares?

    According to Wikipedia:

"The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a federal Cabinet-level agency that provides near-comprehensive healthcare services to eligible military veterans at VA medical centers and outpatient clinics located throughout the country; several non-healthcare benefits including disability compensation, vocational rehabilitation, education assistance, home loans, and life insurance; and provides burial and memorial benefits to eligible veterans and family members at 135 national cemeteries."

I think it has a lot to do with which VA hospital you visit.  I have heard several people say that the one they attend is fantastic and others, not so much.
