Currently presently today the government of the US of A is being held hostage for a border wall. But I wonder. Isn't everyone held hostage?

By someone or something?  A person, a belief, an ideology, a standard of propriety? Who escapes that?

    Using a statement like hostage for the wall is one thing.  Asking some esoteric question following it, just muddies up the waters.

    Yes we all suffer.  Back to the point.  We are talking about THE WALL here.

    After all these years are you SERIOUSLY questioning the validity of my question? Surely not. Say it ain't so joe. You don't attack a cat for stalking  a mouse or a bird since that is its nature.
