I suppose in law school you have to argue "the other side" even if you don't subscribe to it. How do you argue FOR what you're AGAINST?

Some folks just adore arguing fighting battling. Just for its own sake. Now do you ever do that or are your battles based on firm beliefs, principles, important things, relevant things, purposeful things, things that are TRUE?
