Other than DEATH and TAXES are there no "sure things"? No absolutes? Is everything mutable flexible depending upon the societal mores?

Can the exact same thing be vile evil in one situation and absolutely wondrous fair in another situation? Is morality, right & wrong, always dependent upon the eye of beholder? Is truth singular specific individual and not collective? SIGH. If so bummer.
