Think of life as a horse race. You bet on the horse you think will win. You have access to the track record of each horse. Does it matter?

Some folks bet on a horse that is LAME to begin with. They  insist on putting all their money on it despite the falters and trips and stumbles and bad showings and never winning any races. They are LOYAL to that horse o matter what. Now why is that? What would cause anyone to bet on a sure loser?
