They perceive YO-YO boy to be always right never wrong, always true never not, always in their corner never as working against their best interests, always patriotic and never as a treasonous traitorous Russian puppet. All of them in unison conform to that belief. So no matter whatever "it" he does or says they will always defend it. No matter why they will always defend it. No matter when they will always defend it. They will never blame him for anything. Ever. Because they are liars? I don't think so. I think they really intensely with every single fiber of their being and every single ounce of emotion believe in him exclusively foreverly truly. Now how do you fight that? How do you get through that? You don't. You can't. You let them alone to continue on their path following him wherever. SIGH. Give up on them. They are lost to us forever.
