How do you choose in whom or what to invest your interest and time and energy and curiosity? Do you expect a return on that investment?

How many times do you simply spin your wheels going in circles getting nowhere? Once you experience that with someone do you continue going back for more of the same? Are you insane? If you know in advance it will be a complete waste of your time why would you keep doing that?

    If it is a financial investment yes we do hope for a good return.   As far as out time and energy and interest well if it is something I enjoy doing then I am receiving a return rather automatically.  But The Bible tells us to help others selflessly which we try to do though we know any return is unlikely.
