Does it pay well? Defending the indefensible? Spending one's entire waking life supporting the insupportable must be exhausting. Is it?

I expect such folks die young. Giving all they've got 24/7 for what whom why? The pay has gotta be real good. Certainly spending your life defending dishonorable and evil and lies and corruption and betrayal can't be exhilarating.
