I also think that Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones are/were elegant Sean Connery too as James Bond. Sir Lawrence Olivier was always elegant to me. And you mayl be surprised by this one but Humphrey Bogart, my favorite ever actor, was elegant in my eyes. Especially in Casablanca when he sent Ingrid Bergman away and said she should be with her husband who needed her because there was a greater cause in life than the two of them. Also when he said to Claude Rains "this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship". So I guess elegant is a very quixotic thing. Chameleon in nature. I think Ronald Coleman was very elegant on his way to death as he says "it is a far far better thing I do than I have ever done. It is a far far better place I go to than I have ever known".
