Isn't Judah considered a from of Jew? Or rather Jew came from Judah.
I know a few men named Judah. This post was edited by my2cents at February 10, 2019 7:02 AM MST

Judah is Hebrew and Jude is the shortened version of the name. I'm not sure if Judah or Jude would be a name chosen for a baby boy who is Jewish. This post was edited by easyjolene at February 10, 2019 7:02 AM MST

If someone can name their child Abcity (Abcde), then they can name them Tin can and it would sound odd to others.

I'm named after liquor. So, when I give my name, I give a shortened version of it because I don't like my name. I would if, I had never heard the story of how they chose the name.
