A conclusion reached per a study published in the journal Biological Conservation by researchers at the Univeristy of Sydney and University of Queensland (Brisbane). 40% are declining. 1/3 of them are endangered. The rate of extinction of insects is 8 times faster than that of mammals, birds, reptiles. So what you ask? Plenty. It seems theyare NECESSARY to human survival. They go we go. SIGH.
