Robinhood was a criminal. However the mitigating factor was that he stole from the HAVES to give to the HAVE NOTS. Some would say that is noble. Some would say that is dastardly (the haves would say that). Cut-and-dried Robinhood took what did not belong to him to give to those in need. He did not steal (see eminent domain) to benefit himself at all. He took from those who had plenty and gave to those who had little. Like him or hate him? Why?
