  • I try to avoid fighting people - the only times I have have been in defense of someone or an animal unable to defend themselves.

    Oh, except my husband - we batt words like a competitive squash match occasionally - and sometimes over very silly things too. Sometimes I'll tell him that's something I'm not willing to change - we need a different solution. Other times I'll accept and change because I can see it makes good sense.

    Embracing something not in my best interests? Taking on the horse breeding and traing project turned out to be financially ruinous - why? I became so addicted and in love with the horses that I couldn't see the consequences, even though the evidence was mounting. I believe they call it denial.
