Here are my answers. Ella Fitzgerald. Donald Fagan. Steely Dan. Yours?

You can figure out the question on your own can't you? No need asking the obvious is there? But
well

Those are my choices of favorites whom I could listen to forever without ever tiring of them. I think. I mean forever is a very long time and I might change during it. But the me of today thinks those are the "right" answers.

But Donald Fagan was Steely Dan.  With I think one other person.  You must like jazz and jazz-influenced music.  They were good but doubt I could listen to just the same singers forever.  Maybe instrumental music. Symphonies or some jazz like Walt Dickerson or John Coltrane's easier to like recordings.  Perhaps some singers who were easier on the ear.  Like Nat Cole who died when I was maybe 8 but I learned to like some of his recordings.  Certainly no belters or screamers all the time.  But like most people I prefer variety.

I know who Steely Dan is. I know who Donald Fagan is. Why do you think I don't?

I've got over 6,000 songs on my iPod ... and play them all in shuffle mode, at work.
They are all sorts of genres and artists.
I don't think I could stick with one of either, for very long, without getting bored of it.

The list of what I can't stand is much shorter ... "gangsta rap"

Thank you for your reply Walt! :) What is "shuffle" mode and you COUNTED the number of songs you have? 6000 is a LOT! :) This post was edited by RosieG at February 23, 2019 12:46 AM MST
