btw - most fake crab is a fish (Surimi). (Knowledge gained from working at a seafood processing plant.) Of course, manufacturers add fillers, flavoring, and color to make it "seem" like crab meat.
True story: When I worked at the plant, the Comptroller was deathly allergic to seafood. He had to walk through the processing area to get to the office. Once; He almost died eating a pizza the owner's wife made for us, because she had coated the pan with fish oil.
It is all disgusting. If it is not an abomination it is because that item is something you are used to eating. Not that it is not junk. Sure liquid smoke and fake krab are nauseating. So are candy bars, snacks, things sold in boxes and cans. We are used to poison.
Try eating a tomato grown in sun and great soil and then buy one in the grocery store. It is all garbage.
