Same is true in business. You business owners know that. Your company is only as good/successful as the employees you hired. If they are defective seconds your productr will be likewise.
So why would you expect anything different in Government?
Send the worst bums there are with ZERO integrity/honor/conscience/ethics whose intellect is mediocre at best and enormously defective at worst and what kind of governing do you get? What we have right now The pits. The dregs. The Swamp. If that's what y'all want then you DESERVE what you're getting. Settling for inferiors, seconds, crap is what y'all have done effortlessly it seems to me. Why that is I can't guess. Low standards fer sure but more than that what you perceive to be top quality doesn't even make it to the outlets where they sell "seconds". Not even good enough for that. The chips and fractures and breaks are so obvious no thinking person would buy any of it. But y'all done did so. So what you value is different. Of course you have a right to value what you see as precious. Why you value it is peculiar. That you value it is a tragedy.
