    I think a "Whistleblower" does it mainly for the good of others ... while a "snitch" (etc) does it mainly for themselves.

    EG: A criminal who got caught and is trying to reduce their own punishment, is a "snitch".

    If a TRUTH is revealed what is the difference what the motive is Walt? That's what I don't get and never will. Do you admire people who tell the truth no matter the reason for doing so? I do. I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply!  :)

    A fink and a rat etc... are low lifes betraying other low lifes.   Whereas a whistleblower may be alerting society of a danger that the whistleblower is  privy to. 


    OR HE GOT CAUGHT and wants to spill the beans.  But that really is not a whistleblower.  That is a criminal who needs to come clean




    A whislteblower may be a prior fink or rat.  He may be totally innocent. But usually it is a party who sees the error of his ways or sees that what he is involved in is so bad he must come forth with the truth.   And then there are whistleblowers that SHOUT OUT FAKE LIES.
