Maybe if you work for the gubment you have to do so. But it means diddly crap. Little donny d and his gang of thuggy mugs probably signed one. They all took oaths. They're all worth crap because they didn't live up to them. A piece of paper that ridicules what you sign to promise to do? So much for truth justice and the American way of life.

    I hear you, but I would sign anything that would make it easier to beat Trump.  If this makes Bernie look better, then sign it.

    It is so offensive to me Sharon. Just as being married never insures fidelity so too does taking an oath or signing a pledge ever insure it will be kept. So much malarky window-dressing meaning nothing at all. I sure as he** wouldn't sign one. Well I would sign a pledge or oath that I would NEVER knowingly do anything that would harm my country. That I know. That I will never change my mind about. I am a FIRST GENERATION AMERICAN. I would let my family down horribly if I ever did anything to harm my country. Other than that? Nada. I don't know whom I will be tomorrow let alone years hence if I'm still here. Why should I make a pledge I cannot guarantee? More blue smoke and mirrors. More meaningless dog&pony show theatrics .     People sign marriage contracts all the time and break them.

    He is publically signalling his intention to serve the Dems. I see nothing wrong with it.  People are scared and listening to language like Socialism as if it is Communism and they need to know Bernie is with the party that is going to right this country and bring Trump down.

    He can be all Socialist as he wants to once he wins.
