I'd have to say ... when I was growing up, we would jump our bicycles over a friends (who were lying side-by-side after the ramp).
I was always the last one in line.  And while everybody else was face-down, I would be face-up.
I learned the stupidity of that stunt, and stopped doing it, when one of my friends landed their rear tire on my chest.

    LOL

OMG Walt you did? Boy are you ever lucky you survived it! I think boy kids do more daring things than girlkids. I've always been a Foodie. When I was a little girl kid when I'd get home from school I'd get a scallion or two from the garden. I'd go inside and wash and peel and slice it. I'd get two slices of white (Wonder Bread was all they had when I was a kid) bread and a dill pickle. I sliced the scallions and the pickle and placed them on the bread. Salted it. Ate it. My after-school snack. Weird kid! Thank you for your reply!

I put alcohol in my body.  For YEARS.  I learned to navigate quite well by medicating myself and just living with booze in my system for years.  My whole late 20's and early 30's revolved around drinking and working and partying.  It was something NO one would do on purpose.  How I lived and survived this is BEYOND me.

And I managed to stay employed when I didn't walk out of companies because I just couldn't cope any more.

I had no idea Sharon. You survived! I am very thankful for that and we've never met in person. What caused you to turn your life around? My son's ex-MIL was a drug addict/alcoholic and gave birth to a son with alcohol fetal syndrome. She shaped up. So much so that she went to St. Lucia as a volunteer for two years. She pulled herself out of the terrible life and became the person she was always meant to be. Sadly she passed away from cancer but while she lived she contributed mightily. She is my hero. You are too. I've never had to beat anything. Frankly I do not know if I have the right stuff to do so. Glad I was never tested. Thank you for your reply. Oh. Her name was Wendy!  :) This post was edited by RosieG at March 14, 2019 10:18 AM MDT
