Branding is what cattlefolk do to the cattle they own. Trump puts his brand on everything he can. Buildings/clothes/food/people/a political party. Why? Does he need to brand whatever he OWNS?

The Republican convention was not about policy, but was instead a Trump fest, so he stamped his brand on them too. It would have been hard to talk about policies, as he doesn't actually have any. There were many empty seats at the convention. Even the governor of the state wouldn't turn up to support Donald. By contrast, the Democrats were well attended, and had plenty of policy. But then, you know this already. The Trump supporters kind of ignore it.
