Most of us want to grow and change and become better human beings. Don don to his credit doesn't! Refreshiing ain't he?

Yeah, most of us want to improve and be better. A lot of us are also careful about the standard we use to pass judgement on others, lest the same standards be meted out to us. I don't mind admitting that I haven't reached the elitist plateau that allows me to know the heart and mind of those around me. It could be, however, that part of the self improvement involved in growth and change might just include less intense and visceral damning of people and things we know little or nothing of.
