But we KNOW that crooks live free and easy among pols. I think people have even voted for pols who were IN JAIL AT THE TIME of the election and elected them! So I don't agree with he. Of course the person I have in mind presently currently is/was liddle donny d. He was known far and wide as a crook. Certainly New Yorkers knew all about his history and were not impressed.
So the question again is why DO WE vote for crooks? Why do we want corrupt folks to represent us? If they have stiffed others and screwed them what makes us think they won't do the same thing to us? Sigh. T'is a puzzlement.
