Ugh. No. I am an introvert at heart. I need my "alone" time. I have actually told people who showed up unexpectedly (including family) to call next time, and shut the door on them.
WOW! You are a nervy dude. I don't have the COURAGE to do that. But I do get back. I become hostile...that is to say I am not a good hostess. I do not offer food and drink as is my nature. I think it's rude to just show up so I'm rude back. So I guess I'd reply to you "ME TOO" except for the brave part! You are my hero. True to your convictions. I wish I were that brave Walt. Thank you for your reply! So you're an introvert too like moi? Nice ta meetcha! :)
Well, my family is full of people (especially the older generation) who don't "get the hint" and you have to hit them over the head before they understand they can't just drop in on you whenever they want. So I had to become nervy out of self preservation. Otherwise, living at the beach, family would constantly "drop in" while on vacation during the summer.
