Someone on TV referred the Afghnistan "situation" as a CONFLICT! So we are fighting a conflilct and those die are being conflicted?

2280 killed there so far in its 18th year. A conflict not a war. What's in a name? By any other name it is inane insane.  SIGH. When will this 'conflict' end so we can be engaged in another 'conflict" elsewhere posthaste? No time to waste. Daylight's burnin'.
