I am pretty brutal when it comes to self-examination. I don't try and fool me. I assume I am capable of the lowest behavior and go from there. I think it, then I go OH GOD NOOOOO. Then I don't do that.
When I come near to doing something despicable I am highly aware. I cannot fool me. It usually is something where I vowed to keep my mouth shut and then did not. I have a big mouth.
I assess self oftenly and totally. I can't not. I figger if I am going to put others to "the test" I gotta put myself to it too. Otherwise I'm a phony and a hypocrite which means I am a liar which is not something to which I aspire. It's like taking your car in for preventive maintenance. If you wait until it breaks down it takes longer to fix and it is always costlier. Thank you for your reply Sharon! I rarely edit but I always review to see if my views have changed in which case I have to change my base of operation within before I say diddly. :)
