Closing the border with Mexico is financial suicide! I heard that something like 40% of the fruits and veggies coming to California are from MEXICO! That if the border is shut tight avocadoes will disappear from California stores in THREE WEEKS. Also families travel back and forth for visits. Employees travel back and forth for their jobs. COMMERCE crosses the borders via trucks carrying goods to and from Mexico.
