Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» I know you don't want to burden people and do everything on your own alone. But what if one time you reach out and your hand gets slapped?
The one time? Why only one time? The rest of us are forced to reach out sometimes on a daily basis and many slaps occur. We just accept and move on and know that the world does not revolve around us.
Anyone who thinks they are the only one in the world who has been betrayed needs to grow a thicker skin and try not to act that way themselves to others who are reaching out.
I am reminded of those who decide there is NO GOD because they lost their loved one. I mean REALLY? Where was your faith in God when everyone else was dying in the world? Are these disappointed souls really thinking that they and their loved ones are special and live forever? Everything is a lesson and acting like you are the only one who suffers is just plain silly. We live and learn from our brothers and sisters, our fellow humans and we are all together in this struggle to be alive.
