When you crawl on your belly 24/7 what kind of skewed view of reality can see when you look up?

Dondonjohn is too old and flabby to pull himself out of the mud so he will never see the real thee and me. Others tried to pull him up but he was too heavy. So they went down on their stomachs too just to make him happy. We'll see what happens. Everyone says so.

    No.  Crawling King Snakes cannot even look up.  They have no ability to do so.  

    They look ahead and down.  So they can only see the other snakes.  If they can look someone in the eyes, their reptile brain recognizes a fellow snake.  If all they can see is someone's shoes?  It's an enemy.
