I will tell you this. On the list of what matters most in life partisan politics isn't even on the list. Why does anyone think it rocks?

It sucks. It is an ABSURD way to pi** away your life at the end of which exactly what important thing did you accomplish? Lying for someone?  Denying truth? Sabotaging and attacking and insulting and vilifying? This is noble? This is good? This is the most exalted purpose in life? Lying sabotaging attacking insulting vilifying. How does that read on YOUR resume?
