Everywhere he looks he sees "the other" envying him, attacking him, conspiring against him, lying about him. This is his life 24/7. Obsessing fantasizing embracing those who believe with him that he is in grave jeopardy and the enemies list is growing larger in number. He dismisses or fires those who disagree with him because he cannot imagine why his "success" isn't the focus of everyone everywhere all the time because everyone wants to take it away from him. If you ridicule his obsession or deny its existence you become an enemy. His world of necessity will always be that way. That is why he is a one-dimensional person. He is his own be-all and end-all and life for him will always be dangerous and treacherous because he works so hard to insure it. It is what he needs to feel necessary substantive worthwhile. The more he tries the less he becomes. It is inevitable.
Now he is more a nuisance a thorn an "alternate route" and not a superhighway or magnificent spectacular essential anything. So he creates every day whatever it will take to justify to himself that he does matter he is important he is essential he is valid he is worthwhile. Since that hole within him is growing larger and wider and deeper he can never fill it. His exploits will increase in size and number. Where it will end I don't know. We are watching something very unique in our lifetime. Some are enjoying it. Some not so much. But it will unfold as it must unfold the endgame and endtimes of which are not known presently. We wait and watch.
