    As one who experimented with explosive combinations ... pouring gas on an existing fire is stupid dumb.

    And yes, my experimentation covered doing just that.   LOL

    WHAT? And you're still here? Was't there a huge flash of fire that exploded bigly? Boy Walt I'm curious about lotsa stuff but playing with fire ain't among them. Thank you for your reply. You REALLY did that? How old were you and did your folks find out?

    Well, it was kinda an accident ... in that the fire was in a coffee can and I couldn't see it and I poured 1/4 cup of gasoline in.  
    Thankfully, I was not standing directly over the can.  But yes, it did cause a bit of a flare up.  LOL

    It was when I was in middle school.  But at least by the time all the other guys were spraying lighter fluid on hot coals and getting arm hair or eyebrows burned off ... I had already learned my lesson.  LOL
