If Google and Uber merged, would they call it Goober?

  • I would guess Amazon would buy Uber. Google doesn't seem to like to buy companies. They want to make their own things and crush the competition. Bezos is more likely to acquire. Then again I don't have the superior brain of Uber Capitalist Billionaire Technocrats. So who knows.

I would guess in any case, the company would keep the name Uber for "brand recognition" and just add their company name. For example "Uber (by Google)" or "Uber (an Amazon Initiative)" etc.

But Goober is very funny. Of course isn't that name owned by the company that makes the peanut butter and jelly in one jar? Is that still around? Did anyone buy that? Maybe Amazon owns it. I should ask that question. Wait. Aren't Goobers also candy? We can't have that. Google will have to buy that company too. Maybe drones can deliver the candy.
