Is there some sacrosanct list approved by the approvers of "THINGS PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW?" Where can I find a copy?

No. But there should be a list that a PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES needs to know.  Like pronouncing WORDS and not lying.

Like knowing the meaning of any word. Like knowing history.  Like knowing politics.  Like knowing normal decent behavior in public.
