I never imagined it either. The left's obsession with undermining the security, welfare and prosperity of the nation to foster their hatred of the current administration is truly malignant. Very reminiscent of Lucifer in Milton's "Paradise Lost" and his expressed desire to rule in Hell rather than serve in Heaven. "Unimaginable" is the correct term to use in describing what awaits on the horizon.
Interesting---when I contemplate the current Republican administration, I am reminded consistently of Dante's Inferno.
Were Dante able to update his magnificent work, I wonder how many additional levels he would have to add to reward Trump and his buddies---and would he have to add an express elevator to quickly access the lowest level.
And perhaps his work would have to be referred to as other than the Divine Comedy.
Not sure which current political reality you are referring to. I don't recall a time when so many people seemed so offended by a sitting president they are not even willing to accept him. Goodness in a town not far from where I live they won't even allow any mention of his name at public celebrations. Can understand disagreeing or disapproving of particular things but when they start acting with their noses so up in the air its like they don't want to "lower" themselves by even countenancing someone it all seems pretty silly. Of course he bears the responsibility for some of that by his own penchant for outrageous and injudicious comments.
