Do you keep your identity hidden behind monikers chosen to protect you from ever being "found out"? What do you bring here that most represents the AUTHENTIC you or is everything you say/do fabricated? Just wonderin'.
In the last internet place I used to hang out (Answerbag) several charlatans pretended to be whom they were not and perpetrated frauds that were very hurtful upon those folks who bought into it and believed them.
Why people would do that I have no idea. Go out of their way to make up stuff that wasn't true just to hoodwink others. I guess it gave them a feeling of superiority in some way and for sure they felt contempt and disdain for those who bought into their lies. I wonder if all internet social sites are a haven for tricksters who get their kicks out of manipulating people? Ever been hoodwinked that you know about? How did it make you feel?
