We compare homo saps to animals. Why don't we compare animals to homo saps?

He eats like a pig. He's chicken. He is like a bull in a china shop. He's  snake in the grass. He's a worm. He is as loyal as a dog. He is as independent as a cat.

Turnabout is fair isn't it? What animals can you compare to which homo saps? Or isn't it a  two-way street?

Animals don't need to compare themselves to us.  They're not "as egotistical as a human".

She's as stubborn as a mule.  He's got a memory like an elephant. She's mad as a hornet.

(cats are NOT independent... they just want you to think that they are.)

We say the sb prez is a pig. We don't say a pig is like the sb prez. We say the sb prez is a scairdy cat chicken. What cat have you ever compared to a human? What lousy or endearing qualities in humans have you ever ascribed to other animals? The fox guarding the henhouse is like the sb prez guarding the country? Ever say that? No. We say the sb prez guarding the country is like a fox guarding a henhouse. That's what I mean. Thank you for your reply. Ever say a human soars as high as an eagle? Sure. Ever says an eagle soars as high as the sb prez? WHAT? Sigh. Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Tuesday. Guess I shall have to be more specific futurely.
