FLIRT.* We automatically think of women not men. Why? Don't men flirt too?

*FLIRT
To court triflingly or act amorously without serious intentions.

In other words LYING, PRETENDING, FAKING. Right?

Of course men flirt.  We all flirt in various ways though they may be very subtle.  That is all part of the dance of life.   Quite automatic.  Doesn't have to mean lying or faking or pretending at all.  it is part of being alive.

Yes men flirt.  Maybe not in the exact same ways a woman does.

Yes, flirting is lying, pretending, faking - technically speaking.  People use it to get what they want (perhaps a thrill?)

However, I think we all expect to be flirted with (at one time or another).  Not to the point of being hurt by it, but to have/enjoy a little fun.  It's when flirting goes too far (when one party gets hurt) that it becomes bad.  A vast majority of married people are that way because of flirting.

Exclude me out Shuhak. I never want nor expect to be flirted with. It's insulting to me personally. It phony superificial and disdainful I think. Different strokes. Now what do we mean by "flirting"? Maybe that's where the problem is. Maybe what I think of as flirting (which I never recognize if directed at me and which I have never done because it simply is not me) and what you or others think is not  the same. In which case it's academic moot irrelevant. I like straightshooters.

I am by no means condoning flirting.

Flirting - batting the eyes, coy talk, no serious intentions.   Some people use flirtation as a way to break the ice.
(Note: flirting should not be confused with seducing (sexual innuendo - talk and actions, provocative dress, sexual intentions) Seducing is completely deliberate and it's sole intent is to tempt.

No.  Not.  Men are the flirts. That is their game.  They are the hunters and the seekers and the flirts.

    It just sounds feminine.
